We exist to help students discover the plans and purposes God has for their lives in an environment specifically designed for them.
Every Wednesday, students will experience creativity, relevant biblical teaching, music, competitions, and the opportunity to build authentic and healthy relationships. We believe that students need to be devoted to a real God that can relate to them in a real world.
Thrive Student Sundays (Sundays at 9:00am & 10:20am): For 6th-12th grade students. Small groups, teachings, intentional fun!
This is a great addition to Wednesday Nights, not a replacement. Come to Student Sundays and come to Thrive Students on Wednesdays!
How do we do this?
COMMUNITY: We believe every student should have a leader in their life who knows their name, knows their story, and is challenging them to move one step closer to Jesus. We believe "circles are better than rows". Our students will grow more sitting in small groups hashing out their faith together than sitting in rows.
LIFE GROUPS: Life Groups are the place for students to discover new friendships, have conversations about Jesus and have a lot of FUN! Each week, Life Groups are facilitated by adult leaders that walk students through discussions based around the messages from our sermon series, helping them to discover how those truths apply to their lives.
BIBLICAL MESSAGES: TRUTH straight from the source! Every week, students will discover who they are in Jesus Christ and become the world-changers God has designed them to be. We do this through practical life application, teaching straight from the Bible with discussions specifically designed with today's teens in mind. We are always studying the culture and language of "teenagers", in order to best communicate the truth of God's word in the context of today's teens.
OUTRAGEOUS COMPETITIONS: "YOU WON'T DO THIS IN YOUR MOM'S CHURCH!" We like to mix things up! Laugh together, compete together, chill out together. So whether it's Wednesday night or a weekend retreat, you can expect something creative, unexpected and slightly outrageous to happen! It's just what we do!
LIFE CHANGING EVENTS: Two Retreats (One in the Fall and one in the Spring), Fall Competition, Summer Camp, Annual Missions Trip
THRIVE STUDENT GATHERINGS: Wednesday evenings: Meet at Thrive from 7:00-8:15pm. We welcome all 6th-12th grade students to attend and bring a friend!
SUNDAY MORNINGS: We encourage our Sr. high youth to play active roles on Thrive volunteer teams and enjoy our adult services.
